There will be no lodge meetings during July and August, 2009.
Lodge Room Redesign Project
Thursday, 25 June 2009 21:46
Brothers,
During July and August the Lodge will be undergoing a renovation upstairs and some downstairs. The plan is to replace the carpeting upstairs, remove the dated paneling and replace with sheet rock, update the lighting and sound system. Besides the upstairs, work will begin on the Lodge library and the Secretary's office with new flooring and fresh paint.
When we come back in September from being dark you should see a great improvement to the physical appearance of the interior of the Lodge.
All of this is made possible by the generosity of Br:. Al Tindall, who left a sum of money to the lodge in his will. Although Br:. Tindall has passed to that Lodge on high, his love for Gulf Beach Lodge is reflected in the work we are accomplishing through his generosity.
As the project proceeds, I will send updates so you can follow the work that is going on over the summer.
Fraternally,
Howard Knapp PDDGM
Secretary
