You have been following the downstairs remodel over the summer, but we have also done a few things upstairs. The upstairs was remodeled last summer, and we have finally completed the Past Master picture project. All Past Master pictures from 1950-2010 were digitally scanned and reprinted on photo paper at high resolution. All pictures were cropped to the same 8X10 size, reframed, and put in new brackets on the South wall of the Lodge room.
Thank you to the following brothers/family for completing this project....John Anthony and Ralph Vaughan for constructing the brackets on the wall....Howard and Janet Knapp for scanning, cropping, printing, and framing all the photos.
The original photos are sealed in an airtight bag and stored away. The Lodge now has a digital scan of each Past Master photo on file.
The Lesser lights have been overhauled. The old electric bulb system has been replaced by a candle system and the stands have been refurbished. This improvement brings us more in tune with the fact that the lesser lights are three burning tapers.
The kneeling pads at the altar were refurbished by Br:. John Anthony's daughter.
A big thank you to all those who have helped behind the scenes to make these projects a success.
