Thirteen Masons from Gulf Beach Lodge (and their ladies) were in attendance at the Grand Master's (J. Dick Martinez) official visit to our District last night. There was a wonderful dinner at 6:30 PM with a ladies program and tyled meeting immediately following. The tyled meeting was held at St. Petersburg Lodge No. 139 with over 125 Masons present.

R:.W:. Alan S. Rosenthal, our District Deputy Grand Master and his counterpart from the 20th District, R:.W:. Bob Matheson, put on a fantastic program and represented us well.

Tuesday, June 22, 2010: Gulf Beach Lodge Retrieves Traveling Gavel PDF Print E-mail

Fourteen members of Gulf Beach Lodge No. 291 attending a meeting at Clearwater Lodge No. 127 for fun and fellowship, and also to retrieve the Traveling Gavel. The Gavel was designed to promote visitation between the Lodges within Districts 20 & 21. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed fraternal interaction.

An Entered Apprentice Degree took place this evening.  

 

Our two new brothers are Nicholas Joseph Lagalante and Roger William Smith Sr. 

 

The next Gulf Beach Lodge meeting will be held on September 2, 2010, at 7:30 pm.

Gulf Beach Masonic Lodge No. 291, located at 14020 Marguerite Dr. in Madeira Beach, was visited by Alan S. Rosenthal, District Deputy Grand Master of Masons for the 21st Masonic District on Thursday evening June 17th. Right Worshipful Rosenthal was honored with a dinner, prepared by Brother John Willmot (Senior Deacon) prior to the Lodge's meeting. During the visit the District Deputy Grand Master made a presentation to the following Lodge member, Brother Richard Skinner who received a 55 year service award.

Freemasonry is a fraternal organization for men ages 18 and older and is dedicated to being serviceable to the community as well as offering men an opportunity to better themselves and be a part of a world wide organization of friends and brothers.

Gulf Beach Masonic Lodge No. 291 meets each Thursday evening at 7:30 PM from September through June. All local Masons, as well as visiting Masons are invited attend the Lodge meetings.

Gulf Beach Chapter No. 241,  Order of Eastern Star, invited the Masons (and their ladies) of Gulf Beach Lodge to attend a Mason Appreciation Night on Monday, June 14th at 7:00 pm. The meeting was held at Nitram Lodge No. 188.

Gulf Beach Masonic Lodge No. 291, located at 14020 Marguerite Dr. in Madeira Beach, announces it's newest Master Masons. Brothers Michael S. Castleman and Kenneth R. Steen were made Master Masons at a ceremony held at the Masonic Temple on June 10, 2010 in the presence of 40 members and visiting Masons. Masons from as far away as England were in attendance as well as the current District Deputy Grand Master, Alan S. Rosenthal. A wonderful dinner was prepared by Brother Fernando Salazar, Junior Warden, and enjoyed by all.

Gulf Beach Masonic Lodge was chartered in 1950 and has played an active role on the Gulf Beaches since that time. The Lodge held it's first meetings in a Sunday School room at the Church By The Sea on Gulf Blvd. while members of the Lodge built the Temple on Marguerite Dr, which still stands today. Gulf Beach Lodge is dedicated to helping the community by taking part in many charitable activities including feeding needy families during the Holidays, providing Holiday gifts to needy children, adopting local school classrooms with monetary donations, and many other philanthropic activities.

Freemasonry is a fraternal organization for men ages 18 and up which provides an outlet for good men to be a part of an organization which is charitable, brotherly and morally sound.
